Kassel receives NSF GRF award

On behalf of the Department of Physics & Optical Sciences, we would like to congratulate Jennifer Kassel for being receiving the NSF GRF award. Jennifer Kassel is completing a BS in Physics (GPA 3.657) and has had several offers from schools across the country. Her field of study is Physics and Astronomy – Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics. Jennifer participated in both the NanoSURE REU program and the Charlotte Research Scholars program. Like Kathryn and Marissa, Jennifer was a community college transfer student (she completed 64 cr hr at CPCC).
