Charlotte Alum Dr. Nikita Nikulsin to Return for Special Colloquium

On Thursday, September 15th, at 2:00 p.m., Charlotte alum Dr. Nikita Nikulsin will be returning to campus to speak at a special colloquium in Grigg 133. The event is being hosted by Dr. Jacobs, Director of the Physics Undergraduate Mentoring Program (PUMP), and all departmental students and faculty are invited to attend. Free pizza and beverages will be served in the Grigg atrium (immediately outside Grigg 133) beginning at 1:00 p.m. on the 15th.

Since receiving his M.S. in Applied Physics from Charlotte in 2018, Dr. Nikulsin has completed research at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics, and he recently defended his Ph.D. in Plasma Physics at the Technical University of Munich; currently, he works at the Princeton University Plasma Physics Laboratory.
